Team Double Trouble, aka Adrian and Aurora, looks a lot different this year without Fizo. Fizo started as Team NC 7 years ago, but now  he will be walking with us in spirit from the Rainbow Bridge.

Once again we are walking for all the dogs being dumped by their irresponsible breeders. We are walking for the love of the breed and for those that have no voice! 8 years ago a irresponsible breeder dumped 9 of his Akita’s at a high kill shelter here in Franklinton, NC. Rescue stepped up for these kids. Unfortunately Maude couldn’t be saved. Her breeder continued to breed her with severe temperament issues. The only thing we could do was set her free. So we walk for her and the rest of the Akitas who have no voice. For those who’s irresponsible breeders just dump them when they are no longer of use to them. Who are kept in horrible living conditions. (Even the puppies)

Adrian will have a little helper as well this year - her bestest buddie Aurora! These two are inseparable so it is only fitting that they walk as a team! Paws crossed Adrain and Aurora will make Fizo and all the orphans of BEAR proud.
