Hi ! I'm Brandi and I am in love!! I'm in love with my forever family; Mum, Daddy and Ridge, my big brother. 

I was picked up as a stray in Texas in January 2020. No one came for me, which I can't understand because I am so cute. (Well, besides my broken and worn teeth. My parents suspect I was kept chained for a very long time and finally chewed my way free)

Sometime in early 2021, I got on the radar of BEAR (Big East Akita Rescue). I slowly made my way Northeast, arriving at BEAR in March of 2021. I loved JoAnn and her family, but I wanted my very own family.

My parents saw my picture, with my frosty muzzle, and knew they wanted me. But they were worried whether I would get along with their boy, Ridge. Needless to say, it was love at first butt sniff !

In June 2021, after being homeless for at least 1.5 years, I finally had my own home.

They say I am a senior, but I don't believe I am. I am just beginning!!!
