Meet Toka and Miko, who love, love, love to hike. We live in the Finger Lakes Region of New York and a mere mile from the spectacular 215 foot Taughannock Falls. We're putting our training to a great cause - Whisker Walking!


We will be Whisker Walking on 6/15/25 to support the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming efforts of Big East Akita Rescue.


Toka (AKA 'His Redness') is incredibly talented, having earned over 140 performance titles in everything from rally to barn hunt to nose work to (no surprise!) hiking and pack hiking.


Miko is the newest addition to our pack, and will give her big brother a run for his performance money. At age 18 months, she has already earned her tracking dog title, as well as multiple trick dog, fit dog and temperament titles.  

In memory of B.E.A.R. rescue Maxx(-one-in)imilian, and our beloved Kiyo. Always and forever in our hearts.
