Let me introduce myself... I’m the new kid on team Midwest fluffy butts. My name is Addie though my daddy says I’m Shiro's partner in crime; whatever that means. My “brother” Shiro and “sister” Dora taught me from the beginning that part of what we do in this family is help Akitas who need it! So even though I’m still a baby... YES I AM honest... we are joining in on the campaign to help the BEAR Akitas in need for the Whisker Walk! Oh and my human is allowed in public too because she’s had her shots

Barron- I lived in a puppy mill until BEAR saved me. At night I would dream of having a soft bed and food. BEAR granted my wish, I have a mom, toys and soft beds. I enjoying going for walks with my mom this year we are to raise money for all the BEAR orphans who are waiting for a soft bed. Oh..just to let you know I will be hunting for squirrels while I am on the Whisker Walk. Don’t tell my mom!!

My name is Pilot. I am a happy boy who is always willing to help any akita in need. This year I will walk to raise money for rescue Akita's, who do not have a loving home like I do. My mom and I always open our home to foster Akita's. I know first-hand how there are so many unwanted Akita's. My mom tells me our home is a stepping-stone for them until their forever home can be found. Shhh… don’t tell anyone but I like it when our fosters find homes, I get my mom all to myself then. I know it’s selfish to think that way, but I cannot help myself. I am a dog, who loves his mom. [❤]

My hero is JoAnn who runs Big East Akita rescue. She helps SO many unwanted Akitas each year. Since they help so many, they encounter large medical and food bills. This is the reason why I will walk my furry heart out, until my goal is met. Will you help me reach my goal sponsoring me…Please. I will send you a personal paw [🐾] thank you card.

WHISKER WALK 2023

I'm Stanza & I'm an "only Akita" at my house and I like that just fine - I'm the QUEEN of everything! My best friend is a Pittie. I've done the Whisker Walk twice before, so I'm an expert. I like walking but my second favorite thing is lying down AFTER the walk! You know what my FIRST FAVORITE thing is?? It's helping BEAR save akitas who are not as fortunate ans I am - Won't you help me help the akitas at BEAR get home where THEY can be the King or Queen?

Katniss – My mom didn’t know when she named me, I would live up to my name and be a GREAT hunter. I take pride in hunting bugs..yep bugs and a “few” rodents as well. I am best known for my stunt at the Akita National when I was SO..happy and bounced around the ring. Everyone laughed except mom. One of my favorite things to do is walk in the woods and now I get to do what I love and raise money to help the BEAR orphans.
